Experience
Kevin has more than 30 years of leadership, management and teaching experience. Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in psychology, leadership, management, organizational behavior, and history, he has served on the faculties of the United States Air Force Academy, the State University of New York, Eastern Washington State University, and the University of Massachusetts. Kevin has designed and delivered numerous leadership development programs for leaders in government, military, corporate, education and nonprofit sectors. In addition to his impressive teaching background, Kevin has extensive leadership experience at the middle and senior-management levels. A retired Air Force Officer, he has held various leadership and command positions in the fields of personnel, education, training development, and transportation.
Current Role
Kevin is currently a leadership solutions facilitator of CCL. Prior to this Kevin was employed as a senior executive instructor with the Leadership Foundry, and prior to that at CCL for fifteen years as senior faculty, where he designed and delivered custom programs for CCL’s corporate, nonprofit, government, and education clients. He trained several of CCL’s open enrollment leadership programs and is also a certified feedback coach.
Educational Background
Kevin is a nationally certified counselor. His areas of interest include leadership development, organizational psychology, cognitive development, and personal and career counseling. He earned a B.A. in History and a M.S. in Guidance and Counseling from St. Michael’s College in Vermont. His Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Counseling Psychology is from the University of Denver.
Professional Affiliations
Kevin has various publications that have appeared in the Journal of College Student Development, Proceedings of the Applied Behavioral Sciences, Psychology in the Department of Defense, and the Education Journal. He is a member of American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).
