Singularity University

Kris Østergaard is a researcher, author and globally sought after keynote speaker on innovation, responsible business, corporate culture and the impact of technological change. He is co-founder of SingularityU Nordic, the Nordic entity of Silicon Valley based educational institution, Singularity University and heads up Rehumanize Publishing, part of Rehumanize Institute.

He is editor of Ethics@Work: Dilemmas of the Near Future and How Your Organization Can Solve Them. In this anthology, a select group of global thought leaders within fields such as AI, neuroscience, leadership, culture, strategy, and innovation provides inspiration, insights, and concrete tools to help you solve near future ethical dilemmas to the benefit of your organization and to the benefit of the world. The book is non-profit. All book proceeds are used to create awareness-related activities on the need for organizations world-wide to become evermore responsible.

Kris has more than two decades of experience as a behavioral researcher. He has authored or co-authored several books including Transforming Legacy Organizations, where he has thoroughly investigated innovation in large, complex systems. He is Co-Founder of the educational institution SingularityU Nordic and Re:humanize Institute and has previously co-founded and run accelerators, incubators, and co-working spaces. He is also a GeoTech Center Action Council Member at the Atlantic Council (a nonpartisan organization that works towards shaping a stronger future together).

When Kris is not writing, researching or teaching he keynotes globally on innovation, ethics and technological development.
