Biography

Lai Wei is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. She received her Ph.D. in Technology & Operations at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. She also holds a bachelor degree in Economics from Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.

Her research focuses on retail management. She is a problem-driven researcher and her research topics are motivated by emerging retail practice and customer behavior. Specifically, she has worked on the following topics: (1) omni-channel and e-commerce logistics, (2) inventory management, and (3) product strategy and pricing analytics.
