Laura Altomonte

Laura Altomonte was appointed Associate Dean of the Larry L. Luing School of Business in 2020. She previously served as Chair, Online, of the Accounting and Finance programs. She began teaching accounting and general business classes at Berkeley College in 1994 and has taught online accounting graduate classes at Southern New Hampshire University.

Ms. Altomonte has an MBA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts and New Jersey. She is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant, which is a professional designation granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She maintains an accounting practice in New Jersey where she provides business and individual tax preparation services, as well as accounting consulting services.

Ms. Altomonte has extensive online and onsite teaching experience and is a Quality Matters Peer Reviewer Certificate holder. She has taught various accounting, cost accounting, governmental accounting, tax, and auditing classes on both the graduate and undergraduate level.
