Biography
Chris Leggett holds a BSc Economics (honours) degree from the University of London, an MSc in Personnel Management from the University of Bradford, and a PhD in Industrial Relations from Griffith University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and of the Australian Human Resources Institute, and a longtime member of the Association of Industrial Relations Academice of Australia and New Zealand.
Chris Leggett is an Adjunct Professor in the College of Business, Law and Governance at James Cook University where he lectures as a casual staff member on subjects in the Bachelor of Business undergraduate and MBA courses. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Management at the University of South Australia.
Chris Leggett is the book reviews editor of the E-Journal of International and Comparative Labour Studies, moderator of the International Employment Relations Network List (IERN-L), a member of the International Advisory Board of the Economic and Labour Relations Review, and co-director of the ADAPT International Bulletin.
Chris Leggett's research is in the area of international and comparative employment relations, with a focus on industrial relations in East and Southeast Asia, and on which he has published extensively.

Professional
Professional association with ADAPT, which has a Framework Agreement with James Cook University. ADAPT is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by Professor Marco Biagi with the aim of promoting studies and research in the field of labour law and industrial relations from an international and comparative perspective. Its purpose is to encourage and implement a new approach to academic research, by establishing long-term relationships with other universities and advanced studies institutes, and promoting academic and scientific exchange programs with enterprises, institutions, foundations and associations.
