Biography
THNK School of Creative Leadership
Innovation Instructor at Shanghaitech Univeristy
My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: Shanghai
I was referred to THNK by May Lee.
I was born and grew up in Shanghai China. I moved to NYC in 2005, and then spent 8 years in NYC studying and working. I moved back to Shanghai in 2012 where I started Socialsway, an organization that provides consulting work for social enterprises and social programs. I then joined Shanghaitech University as an Innovation Instructor in 2015.
The goal and dream for my next life chapter will be to focus on the combination of innovation and alternative education. I want to bring maker skills, innovative thinking skills and their extension to more teenagers in both United States and China. In doing so I hope to find a better way to provide a customized education to meet individual’s very unique learning purpose.
I am also a big fan of basketball and soccer. Arsenal is his favorite club, and Michael Jordan is my life long idol. Family and friends are the centerpiece of my life. I have two lovely kids, one 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. I would love to spend more time with them to show them the world, as I believe that is one of the best ways to learn and grow.
