Linda Pearson

Former Principal Member, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT); Former Commissioner, NSW Land & Environment Court

Linda has extensive experience as a member of Commonwealth and NSW administrative tribunals, most recently as Former Principal Member of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal in the Administrative & Equal Opportunity and Occupational Divisions, and Appeal Panel.

Other previous decision-making experience includes work as a member of the former Social Security Appeals Tribunal and Migration Review Tribunal, the former NSW Guardianship Tribunal and NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal, and a term as Commissioner of the NSW Land and Environment Court. Linda has taught Administrative Law and Environmental Law and is an Adjunct Professor at UNSW Law. She has published in a wide variety of journals and monographs, with a particular interest in procedural fairness, and fact-finding and evidence in tribunal decision-making.
