Biography
Work Experience
I'm currently a Senior Research Scientist and team leader in Sony AI. My team is mainly focusing on both the fundamental research in AI privacy and security, federated learning, efficient on-device training and prediction, etc, and closing the gap between research and industrial applications for Sony business units. Before Sony AI, I was an expert researcher and team leader in Ant Group, I lead a team to propose a series of new algorithms (Fedsplit-GNN, Fed-KG) for PoC and landing in collaborative and privacy-preserving risk modelling in Fintech. Our team successfully realized the landing of the first collaborative and privacy-preserving risk modelling solution in security and risk management business group (1k+ people) in Ant Group (Press). Earlier, I was a research fellow in Department of Computer Science, National University of Singapore focusing on federated learning, and a research fellow (Level B3, same level as lecturer/assistant professor), Research School of Computer Science, Australian National University.
