Research & Teaching Interests

Lloyd examines various issues in managerial accounting, including budgeting and forecasting, management control systems, incentives, corporate governance, and performance measurement and evaluation. His teaching interests are in managerial accounting and control, and he has taught managerial accounting courses at all levels.

Industry & Academic Experience

Prior to coming to Northeastern, Lloyd has taught at the University of Washington, the University of Michigan, Harvard University, and Boston University, among others. He was also an Assistant Director for Budget and Planning at Brandeis University and a Finance and Accounting Manager at Procter and Gamble Philippines.

Services to the Profession

Lloyd is a member of the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. He has reviewed articles for several journals, including Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Business Ethics, and Accounting Horizons.
