Lluis Guasch

Dr Lluís Guasch is a Research Fellow at Imperial College London. He performs his research across the Earth Science and Engineering, and the Bioengineering departments.

He holds a B.Sc. in physics from the University of Barcelona and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Imperial College London. His work in seismic imaging has let to a successful start-up company, S-Cube, where he is one of the founders and the COO, as well as author of the two patents that drive the technology and commercial development of the company.

During the last four years his research has been focused on medical imaging, and currently leads an academic multi-disciplinary group that works on translating seismic imaging technologies to ultrasound imaging for clinical applications.
