Lorenzo Ardito received the M.Sc. degree in management engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy, in 2011.,He is currently an Assistant Professor of Technology and Innovation Management with the Politecnico di Bari, Bari, Italy. He is also an External Fellow with the Mount Royal University, Calgary, AB, Canada, and a Visiting Ph.D. Student with the WHU—Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, Germany.

He was an Editorial Board Member and/or a Guest Editor for several journals. His main research interests include innovation management, sustainable development, and digital transformation, in which his studies are made in collaboration with scholars worldwide and have been published in several leading international journals.,Prof. Ardito was the recipient of several awards for his research activities, including the Best Paper Award, Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing, and a Research Grant from the Ermenegildo Zegna Founder's Scholarship Program.
