Biography

Alliance Manchester Business School

I earned a PhD in Public Administration and Public Affairs from Virginia Tech in the US. At AMBS, I am working with a multidisciplinary team to design a MSc in International Healthcare Leadership, which is a blended, work-based course, andcollaborating with a colleague to design two of the modules. I also serve as a Cohort Director and Tutor with the National Health Service (NHS) Elizabeth Garrett Anderson (EGA) Programme, which is a two-year, blended, work-based programme for NHS senior leaders. Prior to my position with AMBS, I served as an Assistant Professor with the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Northwest and in the Management Department at Radford University. In addition to holding academic posts, I led organizations in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, most of which have focused on health and human services, including working with a university-based institute that engaged in outreach, consultation and training, the Institute for Policy Outreach at Virginia Tech.
