Presentation
My main research interest concerns the study of human cognition and how we interact with design in everyday life whether in physical environments or digital contexts.
As humans, we rarely meet the world without a multitude of past experiences, and the decisions we make today and the goals we set for tomorrow are therefore often formed by, what we already learned or know. In my research I am especially driven by a curiosity of investigating what happens when consumers misunderstand a marketing campaign or a consumer product, and in order to find the underlying cause and be able to explain and solve the problem - I base my examinations on knowledge of how we as humans sense, perceive, process and evaluate multimodal information on a cognitive level.
I hold a MA in Cognitive Science and a MA in Textile, Crafts & Education - and have previously worked with the development of Corporate Identity campaigns for Danish and International clients at two graphic design studios in Copenhagen.
