Louise Muhdi

Louise Muhdi is Affiliate Professor of Innovation and Strategy at IMD.

Dr. Louise Muhdi is passionate about innovation management, strategy development and execution, entrepreneurship, business transformation, emerging game-changing technologies, life sciences, healthcare, sustainability, leadership and organizational culture.

Thanks to her extensive research, teaching and experience as an executive, she has a truly holistic understanding of business ecosystems, dynamics, drivers and challenges as well as customer, partner and stakeholder requirements and needs.

Her unique 15-year career path has spanned the fields of academia, consulting, management and leadership roles with extensive experience in fragrances and flavor manufacturing, family offices, and the pharmaceutical industry.

An influential figure on the Swiss startup scene, she is an active member of the VentureKick jury where she contributes to selecting and supporting science-based technology startups from the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) and Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland.

Dr Muhdi has led global cross-functional leadership teams and has worked with and advised influential thought leaders as well as members of corporate executive committees and boards of directors.

Prior to joining IMD, Dr Muhdi was the Head of Innovation Strategy and Portfolio - Global Science and Technology (GST) at Givaudan International SA in Switzerland, where she led the development of the global innovation strategy and leading strategic initiatives across the organization.
