University of Bath School of Management
As Director General of International, Security and Environment, Lucy is responsible for the UK’s globally competitive aviation and maritime sectors as well overseeing the activities of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. She is also responsible for overarching security and safety regulation and policy affecting transport, as well as liaison with the UK’s international partners and organisations.
Lucy started her career with Accenture before moving to the PM’s Delivery Unit at the Cabinet Office in 2002. She joined DfT in 2004 as Director of Roads and Local Transport and then Director of Rail and Road Projects before being appointed DG ISE in 2012.
