Lucy Schenk

Lucy studied accounting at the University of Guelph and is Certified in Management from the Canadian Institute of Management and has eight years of financial management and accounting experience.

Lucy received an award for Academic Excellence in Accounting from the University of Guelph and an Accounting Scholarship from Chartered Professional Accountants. Lucy brings a wide variety of work experience to the classroom. She began her career working in corporate accounting for a publicly-traded, multi-billion-dollar company, Linamar. At Linamar, she worked in consolidations, capital management, and management accounting at the plant level. Lucy then moved into the not-for-profit sector, working for the University of Guelph and Western University in accounting and financial management roles. With teaching and education as a passion of hers, she pursued a certificate in Learning and Development from Western Continuing Studies and is excited to bring her knowledge and experience into the classroom to help students gain a deeper understanding of financial management.
