UW Professional & Continuing Education

Luke Panezich is a senior level PPM practitioner and an active PMP, PMI-ACP and CSM. He’s led and managed teams through all stages of the project management life cycle and systems development life cycle activities since 1998. He’s implemented predictive, iterative and adaptive frameworks, helping organizations realize business benefits by turning strategies into IT products and services. As a project management coach and practitioner, he’s turned around failing projects and helps organizations adopt enterprise changes through effective delivery methods, communications and training. He’s a valuable asset to companies that need strategic PM leadership and those that need people in hands-on agile roles such as ScrumMaster and product owner.

Panezich’s passion for teaching and project management began while serving in the U.S. Army. He’s been a CAPM, PMP and PMI-ACP certification instructor and curriculum designer, volunteering through Puget Sound PMI since 2009. He currently serves on the board for PMI’s Puget Sound chapter and has been an instructor for UW Professional & Continuing Education since 2013. Panezich earned a B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MEM from St Martin’s University.
