UW Professional & Continuing Education

Lynn Rose, Ph.D., is the chief of scientific administration at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI), a world-renowned, nonprofit research institute committed to advancing the science that will predict, prevent, reverse and cure diseases of the immune system. In her role at BRI, Dr. Rose brings many years of experience to the areas of clinical research, compliance and business development. She is also an affiliate associate professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, where she teaches biomedical regulatory affairs as a faculty member of the Biomedical Regulatory Affairs Master in Science (BRAMS) program.

A founding member of the ITHS Drug and Development Advisory Committee (DDAC), Dr. Rose has spent the past 25 years working in or with the biotechnology sector, where she's gained extensive experience in biomedical product development in multiple therapeutic areas. This experience includes participation on four successful drug development teams, two of which resulted in marketed products for the treatment of cystic fibrosis and two for hemostasis.

Dr. Rose's primary basic and clinical research experience is in the field of immunology, with emphasis on autoimmunity, infectious disease and immuno-oncology.
