Maanda Tshifularo

Maanda Tshifularo is the CEO and Founder at SuperLead Advisory (a strategy, operations, and leadership consultancy). Until recently, he was the Head of Dialdirect Insurance, where he successfully led a business turnaround and was also awarded the South African product innovation of the year in the financial services category.

Maanda has held management and executive roles at MTN SA, Discovery Health and 1Life Insurance. His experience includes working as a strategy management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and at McKinsey & Company. Prior to his career as a management consultant, Maanda worked as a chemical engineer at Mintek. In 2019, he was named one of the Mail & Guardian’s Top 200 Young South Africans and the Junior Chamber International’s Top 10 Young Persons in South Africa.

Maanda is currently at an advanced stage of his PhD studies at the University of Johannesburg.

A skilled facilitator, Maanda recently moderated at the President’s South Africa Investment Conference. He has completed directorship studies at the Institute of Directors Southern Africa (IODSA) and currently serves as a non-executive director at Alpha International Africa and Prowess Investment Managers. Maanda is an accredited facilitator and licensed distributor of Insights Discovery which is a psychometric tool based on Carl Jungian psychology.
