Center for Creative Leadership
Dr. Maggie Sass is an experienced executive coach and facilitator with leadership, coaching, assessment, assessment validation, and evaluation expertise. She has coached leaders in the Americas and Asia with a specific emphasis in engineering, education, healthcare, and government. In addition to her coaching and consulting work, Maggie has more than 10 years of experience as a researcher with an emphasis on ethics in professional practice. Other research foci include the unique challenges of first-time leaders and use of technology in coaching and leadership.
Current Role
Maggie is currently the global portfolio manager for the MLP program at the Center for Creative Leadership. As faculty, she specializes in leadership development with senior healthcare leaders. She recently worked as part of a faculty team that taught CCL’s first internal leadership college to a group of high potentials in a large health system. Maggie is involved in custom engagements from discovery through delivery and trains in a variety of open enrollment programs at CCL.
Educational Background
Maggie earned her B.A. in psychology with an emphasis in neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.S. and Ph.D in consulting psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. Her doctoral research focused on the ethics of executive coaching and the differences of educational background on the evaluation of coach behavior. Maggie is also an ICF-certified coach and is trained in the use of a variety of personality and multi-rater assessments for use in leadership development.
