Biography
Leonard N. Stern School of Business
Manjiree Jog joined New York University Stern School of Business as a Clinical Instructor of Finance and Executive Director of the Master of Science in Risk Management Program in January 2012, after working for NYU Stern as an administrator since 2009. In 2019 she was appointed as Deputy Chair of the Finance department.
Prior to working at NYU Stern, Professor Jog spent a decade working in the financial services industry in New York and London. She began her finance career at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette as part of the Telecom Equity Research and Telecom M&A groups. In 2000, she joined Restoration Capital, a hedge fund focusing on distressed investments, where she was in charge of the distressed telecom investments. In 2003, she moved to London and worked as a Research Analyst in the hedge fund group of Societe Generale, covering capital structure arbitrage trade ideas.
Professor Jog received a B.Com. in Accounting from the University of Pune in India. She received an M.B.A. from NYU Stern and a Chartered Accountant certification from the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
