Professor Hayford‘s teaching and research focuses on macroeconomics. He has published papers on monetary policy transparency, the Great Recession and financial crisis and the reaction of monetary policy to the 1990s stock market boom along with many other topics. In choosing research topics, Professor Hayford enjoys best doing research that informs his teaching.
