Marco Sartirana

Marco Sartirana is Researcher at SDA Bocconi School of Management and he is member of CERGAS, center for research on health and social care management.

He took part and coordinated to several research project focused on management and healthcare organization with healthcare organizations, regions, scientific and pharma corporations and collaborate with OASI, an Observatory on Healthcare Organizations and Policies of SDA Bocconi. He coordinated and was part of the faculty in several custom education projects for public and private entitities. He was faculty member in university programs both at Università Cattolica and at Università Bocconi.

His research interests are focused on healthcare management with specific interest on human resources management, organizational structure, processes organization, network and organizational changes. His publications are focused on management of professional organization and on the hybrid role doctor-manager, of their challenges and of the support that they may need.

His research are published on national and international journal of public management (Public Management Review, BMC Health Services Research, The International Journal of Public Sector Management, Mecosan, Organizzazione Sanitaria). He is author of several chapters of OASI Report from 2010 onwards and of the book "Inidoneità e idoneità parziali alla mansione specifica del personale SSN: stato dell’arte e proposte di policy", Egea (2017).

He received a M.Sc. in International Management from Università Bocconi in 2009 and a PhD from School of Governance of Utrecht University in 2018 .
