Combining exemplary presentation skills, graduate education in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology as well as Speech Arts, and a passion for Theater, Marjorie North inspires people to share their ideas with clarity and confidence. Her remarkable energy and focused approach help clients in both the classroom setting and private sessions overcome their fear of public speaking and create meaningful connections with their audience.

Marjorie teaches Public Speaking and Executive Communication Skills for the Harvard University Extension School, where she received the Petra Shattuck Award for Excellence in Teaching. In addition, she teaches Professional Development Programs in Leadership Communication for Harvard’s Division of Continuing Education and runs seminars and workshops in Executive Communication Skills both nationally and internationally.

Through her private practice, Marjorie consults with business executives, political candidates, professors, physicians, and attorneys, specializing in public speaking, executive communication, and accent modification. Prior clients include: Cemex, HM Clause, Proctor and Gamble, Physicians without Borders, Merrill Lynch, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Kopelman & Paige. North holds a master’s degree from Adelphi University.

Marjorie lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, reading, theater, and tennis.
