Mark Mason

Mr. Mason is a Director at SWaN & Legend Venture Partners (SWaN). He joined the firm full-time in 2017 after serving as an MBA intern in 2016. Mr. Mason focuses on investment thesis development and new investment diligence while working closely with existing portfolio companies as an active board member and advisor. Mr. Mason serves on the boards of WTHN and One Night and is an active advisor to the boards of MusiCapital, Showfields, Mindshow and ThinkFood Group.

Prior to SWaN, Mr. Mason worked at Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, where he focused on investments in the retail/consumer and telecommunications space. Previously, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mr. Mason earned his Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
