Mark Massyn

Prior to joining the ranks of academia Mark practised as a Project Manager in the fields of commercial, industrial and low-income housing both as a practising project manager and a consultant in Project Management. His research areas include the construction and project management, construction production process, construction health and safety, low-income housing delivery models and densification.

Mark is a committee member for the Western Cape Branch of the Chartered Institute of Building, WC Joint Practice Committee and CIDB Stakeholder forum. Mark has also served on both the Building Construction and Quantity Surveying Standard Generating Body and the National Committee of the Chartered Institute of Building (Southern Africa).
