Biography

Mark is a Professor of and Finance at Lancaster University’s Accounting and Finance Department.
He teaches and researches Investments including ESG and is a member of Lancaster’s Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business.
He has acted as MSc Director, Department Head and Associate Dean for Postgraduate Programmes over the course of his career at Lancaster and is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
His PhD is from London Business School which followed an MBA from INSEAD but he spent his early career years in Investment Banking with County NatWest in Investment Management and Swaps.
He has supervised 15 PhD students through their Doctorates but misses Physics, his first topic of study at University.
