FAU School of Business and Economics
Martin Matzner (born in 1982) studied information systems at the University of Münster (WWU) and the Turku School of Economics from 2002 to 2007. He then worked as a research associate at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management at WWU, where he was responsible for the Service Science competence center of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS).
He completed his doctoral degree in business process management in services networks at WWU in 2012. He was appointed as a lecturer for information systems at WWU in 2016 following his postdoctoral habilitation. Since 2017 Martin Matzner holds the Chair of Digital Industrial Service Systems at FAU. The research areas of Professor Matzner are IT-supported services, business process management and design-oriented information systems.
