Matthias Barkhausen

Lecturer

Biography

-

I have worked in hospitals, retirement homes and advice centers for almost my entire professional life. For more than 25 years I have been working with great joy and passion as a consultant, coach and trainer for hospitals and the people who work in hospitals.

My specialty is supporting the development processes of my customers and clients, be they entire organizations, specific teams or individual people.

As a work and organizational psychologist, I see myself as a boundary crosser, translator and mediator between individual and organizational concerns, in conflicts between individual colleagues and cooperating professional groups, and as a midwife of corporate strategies and professional goals.

As a psychologist, coach and trainer, I accompany and advise managers of all health and social services institutions, in particular chief and senior physicians, team leaders in all departments, nursing and administrative directors and managing directors.
