Maurizio Iacopetta holds a PhD in Economics from New York University, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (2002) and a PhD from University of Rome (1999). He was assistant professor of Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2009. He also taught at New York University, CIDE, Mexico City. He is a member of the Knowledge Technology and Organization (KTO) research center. His research interests include innovation and growth. He has numerous journal publications on this topic.
