Ph.D. in Chemistry and Materials. Dedicated and passionate tertiary-level educator in renewable energy with expertise in ceramic oxides and metal organic hybrids for energy-related applications. Secondary research interest in amine curing agents for epoxy applications (one commercialized product). Pedagogical research include authentic learning and future-readiness of science undergraduates. Teaching of physical, analytical and inorganic laboratories. Chemistry outreach and lab demonstrations.

Research Interests
Pedagogical interests include employment of Socratic methods to teach physical and inorganic chemistry with emphasis on real-life applications. Application of technology and games to facilitate laboratory teaching and learning of inorganic chemistry and renewable energy. Research interests include physical properties (photocatalytic, electrical, magnetic and gas adsorption) of metal organic frameworks. Structural elucidation of crystal structures via single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction.
