Melissa Mattison, MD, SFHM, has been appointed chief of hospital medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston. Dr. Mattison formerly served as the associate chief in the section of hospital medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. In addition to her new role, she will still teach medicine as an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School.
