Presentation

My research interests include various aspects of the idea of a cashless society. More specifically my PhD project investigates the social consequences of mobile payments through an explorative case study of mobile payments in second hand shopping. The aim is to gain an understanding of the phenomenon mobile payments from society''s perspective, the financial institutions'' perspective, and users'' perspective, in order to be able to uncover social consequences of mobile payments.

My PhD project is theoretically based on technological innovation and adoption literature combined with theories on trust and sociology of money. To be able to study the phenomenon mobile payments, I am using the payment app MobilePay as a tool in my project. MobilePay thus constitutes a common reference between me and the users, when interviewing them about mobile payments.

Before joining CBS, I took a MSc in E-business from the IT University of Copenhagen and a BA in English and International Marketing from the University of Southern Denmark.
