Biography
Professor Miao Liu focuses on understanding how information disclosure, as well as frictions investors face in processing disclosures, affect decision-making and resource allocation. In his dissertation, he assesses the strengths and weaknesses of human information processing in lending decisions, using machine learning as a benchmark and diagnostic tool.
