Biography
Michael specializes in technology M&A, company sales, and capital raising (fundraising / venture capital advisory). He has substantial experience working internationally at top Investment Banks, Citigroup (San Francisco) and Merrill Lynch (London), and at multi-strategy investment fund Prime Capital (New York City).
In addition to extensive work in financial and strategic advisory, Michael was the founder and CEO of technology startups in both collaborative consumption and flash sales eCommerce. He knows and understands Founders challenges and has experience overcoming them, both as a consultant & investment banker to technology companies and as the Founder & CEO who led one.
Michael has extensive relationships in Europe, North America, and globally with the decision makers of investment funds in Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE), and with Strategic Corporations of all sorts that are active in technology acquisitions and investments. Lastly, Michael is a frequent speaker at major technology conferences & events, including 4YFN (MWC), Startupbootcamp, and Startup Grind; and he is the professor of Mergers & Acquisitions for the Masters of Finance and Banking program at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
