Michael Hoeppner

Biography

Michael Chad Hoeppner is the President and CEO of GK Training and Communications (www.gktrainingandcommunications.com). He teaches communications at Columbia University Business School in the PhD and MBA programs; works with tech incubators helping start-up entrepreneurs hone and deliver their pitches; and partners with government agencies, non-profit organizations, law firms, financial institutions, and more to develop people-centered programs that improve individuals’ executive presence, story-telling, and persuasive communication.

After attending Dartmouth and Colorado College, Michael received his Masters of Fine Arts degree from the NYU Graduate Acting Program. His methodology draws on performance training and practice: giving clients things they can do—not think about, or feel—but do to be more effective. Clients include Pfizer, Xerox, Novo Nordisk, the World Wildlife Fund, the Trust for Public Land, Green Sports Alliance, NYU Stern School of Business, Octagon Sports Marketing, and others.

As a speaker, Michael presents to audiences around the world, including workshops and keynotes in Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, Dublin, London, Edinburgh, Tokyo, and throughout the US. He also traveled across the United States and Southeast Asia as part of a worldwide speaking tour with a total audience of 60,000 people.
