Biography
Columbia Business School
Professor Keehner is a seasoned executive and prominent investment banker with global experience, senior management responsibilities and a successful track record. He spent more than twenty years of his career with Kidder, Peabody Group, a full-service global investment banking firm where he was a member of the firm's Board of Directors and Executive and Management committees. In 1994, he formed a strategic advisory and private investment company.
Presently, he is an Adjunct Professor of Finance & Economics at Columbia Business School, teaching courses in Entrepreneurial Finance, Leadership in Financial services, and Risk Management; a Faculty adviser to the The Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics; and a Director of Oppenheimer Holdings, Inc.
He is involved in entrepreneurship, governance and risk management activities, new ventures and turn-around situations, in addition to his teaching avocation and other commitments. He has been a Board memnber for several listed companies, as well as many Privately-held entities.
