Biography
UW Professional & Continuing Education
Michael King is the education and public programs manager at the Washington State Historical Society in Tacoma. King has also worked in leadership roles at the Southwest Seattle Historical Society, Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum and National Nordic Museum.
He has served as a board member for the Association of King County Historical Organizations and the American Alliance of Museums’ Small Museums Administrators Committee. He has also taught courses on many subjects at Bellevue College’s Continuing Education program, Metropolitan College of New York and Drew University. King holds a Ph.D. in history and culture from Drew University, Madison, New Jersey.
