Michael Li is a methodologist and hands-on data scientist with a wide range of analytic modeling experience, problem solving capabilities, and abilities to build new analytic practices. He is currently focused on extracting values from EMR data, especially through machine learning for real-time applications.

He enjoys analytic consulting as a competitive game of business problem solving, combining the right methods with large complex data to come up with the best solution that has commercial value. He is an experienced data scientist and applied statistician with a unique ability to turn data into valuable insights, services, or products.

As a hands-on analytic expert, Michael specializes in predictive modeling with EMR clinical data, outcome research, patient profile and cohort analysis, marketing analytics, segmentation, promotion response modeling, and more. He is a methodologist with a solid theoretical foundation, extensive analytic modeling skills, and experience in using data mining, machine learning, biostatistics, statistics, econometrics, and operations research for different data.

He has a proven track record of success in building one analytic R&D and two analytic consulting practices. He has led an advanced analytic consulting team and generated high growth in pharmaceutical commercial analytic consulting business. With extensive consulting experience of over 500 projects, Michael is skilled in project design, proposal and selling, project management, modeling and analyzing, synthesizing and reporting, and delivery and consultation.
