Dr. As a principal engineer in the energy systems technology field at Siemens Technology, Michael Metzger uses digitalization to develop decarbonization strategies for energy systems and predictive operational management of power grids. After studying mathematics with a major in computer science at the Technical University of Munich and earning a doctorate in engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen, he has worked at Siemens AG in various positions and business areas for over 20 years.
