Michael Meyer

Michael is a Financial Services and FinTech Investor with deep industry knowledge and Operations experience.

He is Co-Founder of RegTech Lab, an innovation centre that incubates, accelerates, and tests emerging financial technologies focused on solving Regulatory Requirements problems in financial services. RegLab offers a global service for regulators, financial services companies, technology solution providers, and interested stakeholders that includes seed capital, networking, advisory services, and use case testing.

Michael is also Managing Partner and Co-Founder of MiddleGame Ventures, a “FinTech” venture capital firm investing in early stage growth businesses focused on Financial Innovation. “RegTech” is an emerging theme as is “TechFin”. TechFin places advanced technologies at the center of financial innovation. MGV are seeking great entrepreneurial teams who are focusing on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, Distributed Ledgers/Blockchain, Internet of Things, and Quantum Computing.

Michael is Vice Chair of the Executive Board of Directors at the International RegTech Association and an Adjunct Professor University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He is a Member of the YPO/WPO, a +20,000 global organization of business leaders. He served as Chapter Chair of the YPO Washington DC Chapter (2013-2014). Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a graduate of both Yale University (BA), and Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia (MBA).
