Biography

Michael Mustafa studied economics at the Australian National University, specializing in international and development economics, and received a Masters of Science in Applied Psychology at the University of Nottingham. He received his PhD from University of Nottingham in July 2020. His current research interests include non-family employees and HRD in family firms and entrepreneurial behaviour in established firms. He currently works as an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.

Before becoming an academic, Michael served 8 years a commissioned officer in the Royal Australian Army and is subsequently a graduate of the Royal Military Academy-Duntroon.
