Michael Pitkanen

Michael joined Sheridan in 2011 as Professor in the Pilon School of Business and teaches to diploma, BBA and Post-Graduate HR Co-op students. He is known to combine humour with the seriousness of classroom material to engage students and presents content as ‘edutainment’. With over 20 years of corporate and consulting experience, Michael enjoys sharing both positive and less positive stories with students to motivate and serve as cautionary tales.

He has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a B.Comm from McGill University.
