Biography
THNK School of Creative Leadership
As a result of my upbringing, I am fond of being in international environments. I spent most of my life in the United States, but have lived in the Dominican Republic, Spain, and now the Netherlands. I have always been interested in education, development, and social change. This interest prompted me to pursue a Master's in International Relations with a concentration in political economy of development.
While completing my studies, I did internships at Northwestern Mutual (a financial advising company) and Rise Against Hunger (a nonprofit dedicated to eradicating global hunger). I also served as a mentor for underprivileged youth in the United States and as a volunteer at a children's community center in Brazil. While living in Spain, I worked with a group of innovators on a project about improving higher education. I focused specifically on diversity and mental health initiatives. Subsequently, working towards finding solutions to social challenges, being part of a community of changemakers, and my passion for education and impact, is what ultimately led me to join THNK.
In my spare time, I like to dance (contemporary), play the piano, and learn about different cultures. When I am not at the park with my dog, I am planning new adventures.
