The Pacific Center for Leadership provides team and leadership development to organizations/teams - not-for-profit and for-profit. Our approach has a high degree of hands-on learning and our belief is that a lot can be learned by doing, or "operationalizing" the content we have within us. We are highly respected for our focus on relentlessly ensuring that the session produces value for the client. We start the session with plan but are noted for our flexibility 'at the moment' in order to ensure the objectives are met. We continually ask people and teams to be curious about how they are, because their presence is making a difference! Often what we want to do or think we do is quite different than what we actually do. It is only through feedback from others, being introspective and/or recognizing how we truly are that we can choose. Our approach is not about something being wrong, rather being true about how/who you are. This is true for both individuals and a team - because a team is simply a collection of individuals and conversations. We work with both small teams and large teams (we have done something for over 250 people), both inside and outside. In our work we believe that it is possible to both learn something productive and have a great time. We believe that people and organizations should not settle for less, as time is important to all. We are fortunate to have a 15+ year partnership with Leadership Development at The Banff Center located in Banff, Alberta.
