Ming Wang

I received Ph.D. in Theoretical Economics from Tsinghua University. Under supervision of Professor Long Denggao, I finished my dissertation ‘The Local GovernanceModel in Qing Dynasty: Agent, Domain and Evolution’. This dissertation was named as Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Tsinghua University.

My research interests lie in Chinese economic history and development economics. The current research focus on the traditional Chinese local governance and its long-term impact. I have published many papers in Economic Research Journal, Management World, China Industrial Economics, Journal of Shandong University (Philosophy and Social Sciences).
