Miró Ayats Vergés

Mr Ayats is a lawyer and a professor of tax law. He has extensive experience in defending the interests of taxpayers before administrative and justice courts on all levels - Economic and Administrative Tribunals, High Courts of Justice, National Court of Appeals, Supreme Court, Constitutional Court and European Court of Justice, relating to all kinds of state, regional and local taxes. He is also a specialist with technical experience in tax methods and in defending citizen’s rights related to abusive actions by tax authorities.

Mr Ayats was a lecturer of tax law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is currently teaching tax law at the Universitat Ramon Llull and at ESADE, and has given many seminars and lectures on tax law.
