Morgan Zantua is the director of workforce development for the University of Washington Bothell's Center of Information Assurance and Cybersecurity and a research scientist for the UW's Applied Physics Laboratory. She has collaboratively constructed transition models placing members of the military community into STEM careers and is the architect of Cybersecurity Rapid Education Apprenticeship Training Employment System (CREATES). CREATES is a collaborative grant with the Washington State Department of Commerce and the Washington State Office of the CIO that builds a pipeline to support military transition into cybersecurity.
Zantua boasts a 25-year career in workforce development, career guidance and organizational change with a focus on military transition, cooperative education and cyber workforce development that embeds professional coaching and development into CIAC initiatives.
