Biography

I am a UK trained specialist with dual accreditation in Nephrology and General (Internal) Medicine. I have extensive and wide-ranging experience in both specialities and have had the privilege of working as a Consultant Nephrologist and Physician in three countries including the United Kingdom, Singapore, and most recently Australia. I practice in all fields of Nephrology and General Medicine and have a particular interest in acute kidney injury, acute renal replacement therapies, peritoneal dialysis especially the urgent start peritoneal dialysis, critical care nephrology and acute medicine.

Teaching is an integral part of my career, and I am actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education. I have served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and currently hold the position of Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the Monash University, Australia.

I believe in being innovative and continually strive to improve my practice to provide up to date, evidence-based, high quality, and personalised patient care. I have led a number of service development and quality improvement projects.
