Dr. Shehadeh is an associate professor of mechanical engineering at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Prior to joining AUB in 2008, he was a visiting assistant professor at Villanova University, PA. Dr. Shehadeh obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from Washington State University in 2005, MS and BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Jordan in 2000 and 1998 respectively. Dr. Shehadeh’s research is centered on the development and application of predictive simulation tools to understand the deformation mechanisms in engineering materials, to model processing techniques, in addition to applications related nature inspired designs and water purification.
